xenforo 1.x or 2.x?

what should I go for? (it's my first time with xenforo)

and what's the advantages and disadvantages for each?

XenForo v1.5 has more lot's add-on. You can go to xF v1.5.

But if you want to upgrade to xF v2.0 will lose of your add-on on v1.5.
